[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really comfortable to wear.Incredibly warm. I have seen reviews that say it is maybe too warm when walking, and I can see where they're coming from. I think it is probably down to the outer layer which completely blocks out any wind.On its first outing (an evening football match in North East England in February) , it passed the waterproof, windproof and warmth test with flying colours. If it can get through that, it's a good sign.I bought one size up purely to make sure it would fit over additional layers, as I'm a 42" chest, which fell between L and XL
This jacket was my intro to Finisterre, and honestly, I’m impressed. Super comfy and looks stylish. I haven’t seen vertical chest pockets in casual clothing for a while, so it caught my eye—but they’re actually super convenient and for some reason give me swimming‑coach vibes. Overall, feels like the perfect all‑rounder for Washington/BC weather.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Probably one of the best pieces of clothing I have ever owned, let alone a jacket! The cut and fit is first class, it's warm, and can confirm very waterproof! Excellent service in the Coven Garden shop too! Im 6ft 5in, 43 inch chest, and it fits perfectly. Feels 'fitted' as opposed to a generic fit, much more of a slim fit but not restrictive in any way.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is perfect for the cold wintery conditions. The cost is justified by the quality of the coat and the attention to detail. Such as the elasticated cuffs and the large pockets with button tabs for security. I've been wearing it in the recent extreme weather conditions and its proved to be one of the best coats I have ever purchased.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did quite a bit of research into this type of jacket before buying this one and it was worth it. I'm just back from a week in Vienna where the temperature was around 1-2 degrees and the Vellus jacket exceeded my expectations - really warm, comfortable to wear and all the right pockets an all the right places !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with my Parka Jacket. Most of the time I’ve only got a light T-shirt underneath and it does the job of keeping the wind, rain and cold out. The fleece lined hood is also a cozy addition for colder dog walks or when the British weather really comes in.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is fantastic, it’s warm, waterproof, wind proof, it looks great too and the upper pockets are well positioned. It’s very well made and well worth the money as I know it will last and last. I’ve had lots of positive comments, a great buy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolute beast of a jacket - I feel like I could climb the highest mountains in this. Provides excellent warmth and waterproofing but nice and breathable. I purchased a size larger so I can fit my son in a baby carrier under it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought as gift. Everything is good about this coat. Great length, well made, deep pockets. Chestnut colour is particularly fine. Roomy too, the M was ample for 6ft to 6ft 2, slim build, so returned L.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for my son, he was absolutely delighted with it. The parka is well made and the quality of the materials are excellent. I would highly recommend.
