These are really good simple cotton pants. I wear them in NM all the time, all day to do whatever. They are also good travel pants. They're just useful and functional and a boon to those of us that want to get away from plastic gear. I lift, hike, fly, bike, garden, etc in them and they've handled it all well. The inseam is a bit short for me at 6'3" but it doesn't really matter or bother me all that much.
Very roomie, huge pockets with utility strap to clip, tie on, or wrap around across one pocket. No pocket zips, velcro or buttons. Wonderful cotton feel, trademark elastic waist with integrated nylon clip lock belt, easy tension, release. I also have their classic pants and hiking shorts, all excellent quality durability and feel.
These would make great bouldering pants with a place to hang carabiners close at hand. Pockets are interesting, but roomy for anything. Length works, but would like to have a couple more inches for someone my size (6’2” 220lbs). XL waist has a long belt with no where to really put it having only one belt loop. Overall they’re comfy, but need help with bigger size.
