[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket and after only wearing it twice - both times in London, so not even in the countryside or facing any kind of more threatening/potentially damaging environment - I found a tear in the hood. I didn’t catch it on anything, I have no idea how it happened. But obviously incredibly disappointing to have had it happen when it’s barely had a chance to be used. This was my first purchase of this brand and I’d heard such brilliant things, so I’m gutted that this has happened.
I love the fit and color of this rain jacket (in Seagrass). It's a lovely bright green, somehow unique and yet still easy to wear and outdoorsy. The cut is great for me - it hits right below my hips for good coverage, but is still sporty. It has a 2 way zipper which is perfect for sitting or biking. Sleeves are nice and long, hood is great and fits well over my head. The upper area around the shoulders fits nicely without looking bulky but easy to layer sweaters or fleece underneath. It's a very slight A line cut which fits well on me as a pear-shaped tall woman. It's hard for me to find rain jackets that are a bit longer but still a sporty cut, and this fit is quite unique! I'm very impressed with the quality and can't wait to use it outdoors and traveling. Waterproofing yet to be tested but it feels like it will perform well as an outer layer in wet weather.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for trekking and also holidaying in potentially rainy areas. It needed to be lightweight and waterproof which it is and also I prefer the slightly longer length to keep my butt dry! Would definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second colourway of the skybird jacket that I’ve bought. I convinced myself that I need 2 , so I’ll always have a dry one when the other is wet 😀 ( even though they are really quick drying ) . I’m a size 14 and the same size I. This jacket allows for a thicker jumper underneath. Its longer length makes it perfect for a bit more bum coverage and dryer thighs ! Great price for a truly waterproof jacket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recommended this coat by a friend and it's great. Sizing is accurate and is lovely and durable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not yet worn in heavy rain but anticipate it keeping me dry. Comfortable fit and good colour.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I used this jacket I was on a long, and VERY wet walk in the Lake District. Even after hours in the rain I was still completely dry. Comfortable to wear and the hood stays put which is a big plus. I ordered a size 10, it’s true to size but definitely a more relaxed fit which I prefer. Good for layering underneath!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, the Skybird has kept me dry when cycling in heavy autumnal rain! I am usually only in the rain for ~30 minutes at a time. I am grateful for the double ended zips, so that I can unzip the bottom when I cycle. This gives me room to move and keeps the top parts of my legs dry. The adjustable hood is also ideal for cycling.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this coat, it’s such a lovely dusky pink colour. My only critique is it rides up when you have a pack on so won’t be my first choice hiking but probably to be expected with the relaxed fit and longer length. Could probably have sized down but great to wear over layers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so happy with this purchase. I have gotten lots of compliments from friends on the colour and length of it and I didn’t think i would love the longer length but it looks cool! Would recommend this jacket to anyone, excellent quality, waterproof study material.
