NYC Winter Beats
I just returned from 4 days in NYC in the coldest weekend they have had in 2024. I took other boots but ended up wearing these every day and night there. So comfortable, warm, easy walking all over Manhattan! They can be worn with nice slacks or jeans. These boots are easy on the feet and can beat some pavement!!
Thanks for sharing your experience Bonnie!
Love them
I don't understand all the negative reviews. I am a senior and have been wearing the jungle mocs for yrs in the winter. But they aren’t that great on ice. I saw these and they looked like they had a better gripping sole so I thought I would give them a try. Yes, they were stiff and hard to get on the first time. But comfortable once on. It was snowing and they gave great traction. I also like they have a flat bottom vs the jungle moc. makes them more stable walking. I've worn them several times now and each time they go on easier. My only suggestion would be to add a pull on loop at the heel. Other than that they are perfect.
The best!
I just love these shoes. I bought one pair from another site and after wearing them for a week I bought the black color from your site. I suffer from neuropathy and bunions and I need a shoe that’s “soft” and breathable. Very hard to find in winter shoes. The traction is great and so is the weatherproof although I did spray mine with additional waterproofing spray. While reading reviews most people complained about the difficulty getting them in. I didn’t have this problem and I have wide sensitive feet. Maybe at first try but after the second wear they were fine. I would recommend these to anyone! Oh size was my usual 9.5.
Thank you for the 5 stars, Dina!
Good But Small Fit!
I received these on January 3. I am a true 7.5 Medium in Merrell sizing and ordered the 7.5 based on the many Merrell shoes and sandals I already have. The Thermo Moc does fit slightly smaller and my toes are right at the end of the shoe. A size 8 or a Wide in 7.5 would also be better for easy entrance/exit into this shoe. I would not recommend for anyone with a high instep due to style of the upper. They are comfortable and warm with good arch support and have been great for this weekend’s winter weather and lots of walking in shallow snow. Rated a four for Value as sale price was good.

Super comfortable!
I have lots of foot problems and these shoes are unbelievably comfortable for walking. A little difficult to get on with thicker socks but wore with thinner ones and worth the effort. I wore them flying and walking on a trip to Alaska. They have a rocking sensation as you walk. So glad I purchased them.
Thank you for the awesome feedback!
Disappointed
First time I wore them my feet got wet and cold. Not what I expected from a winter Merrill boot

Comfy slip on
They fit perfectly! Excited to use them this fall!
Fun and comfortable
I purchased these in the women's 6 which is my normal size. The style is fun and updated, and the olive is a great color. I really like the quilting too. I have to have comfortable footwear and this is an everyday shoe for me. Great for running around, hiking, or travel. Although I normally get cold feet, these keep my feet warm with no socks, and if I were to wear socks I'd probably need to go up a half-size. They are a bit hard to get on with the narrow opening but they do slip on easier with a shoe horn. Overall a good purchase!
The smelliest shoes I've ever owned
After just TWO wears, these shoes smell disgusting. I have only worn them *with* socks, and I don't do any serious physical activity while wearing them. I can honestly say that even my most-used gym shoes, that I've worn for 9+ months, do not smell one-tenth as bad as these two after only about 6 hours of wear. Furthermore, the insole is remarkably uncomfortable -there's an odd bump at the outside mid-foot. In general, they're not worth the price I paid, especially since I'm going to have to wash them far more often than I should.
Trail shoes that are as comfy as slippers
I really love these shoes. I don't usually wear slip ons, but these fit really well and stay on well. The toe box is roomy so my toes aren't squished. I like the tread as well. I wear them as house shoes that are easy to put on and are comfortable, but I also wear them to go out. The dark burgundy colour is very nice, and goes with almost anything.
