Too delicate for outdoor wear.
Super soft, great feel, but very delicate. Snagged first day from wearing a backpack. I want a bit more durability for a product like this.
Snags
Nice shirt but it snags easily. Only worn one time and my dog has left several snags in it. All of my other Prana fabrics hold up much better.
Really comfortable and functional, but beware...
Cool and light, the perfect sun hoodie for hiking or outdoor activities on hot days. Took it backpacking in the Colorado back country shortly after receiving it and wasn't disappointed. Breathable without that usual "plastic bag" feel that some technical clothes have. However, as others have said, the fabric "catches" very, very easily. I already have a couple little loops poking out. Sizing was spot on, as all Prana clothes have been for me.
Overall, great item
The shirt is great overall. Very light and soft, love how big the hood is so if you’re wearing a hat underneath it will still provide ample sun protection. Arm length provides cover over hands with thumb holes. Only downfall is though it’s soft, if you snag it in anything it will pill, so durability isn’t fantastic. Medium fits me perfect at 6ft, 175lbs. 5/5 for the beach/casual wear 3-4/5 for hiking/backpacking
Lightweight, breatheable, protective, just needs more colors!
I’m new to the idea of hoodies in the summertime, but after getting this hoodie it’s my new go-to. Super light and breatheable, and saves a ton of money/time since I don’t have to use so much sunscreen! I’m only deducting a star because I’d like more colors and the one color i really like (nomad) has been out of stock. Also, wouldn’t mind a version with a pocket in the front.
It’s a hit!
My brother hasn’t taken this off since Christmas 💙😆. I got the darker blue color (love it!) bc he needed a beach coverup but he likes it so much he’s already wearing it :) (and he’s sorta picky). I wish there was another choice of lighter color bc this one will soak up the sun and he wouldn’t like the other option available.
Falling apart
Great feel super soft and plush. Great sun protection. Ridiculously fragile, I mean doing up my velcro sandals the fabric touches the fabric and ripped loose about 10 threads. It's so delicate I can barely go to the beach or forest with it. Not a great choice.
Amazing, lightweight hoodie
LOVE the thumbholes. Fits true to size, and the fabric is very breathable. You will feel every light breeze through this, which is perfect in the summer when you are wanting to stay cool while active. Stretchy material leaves you with great mobility as well
A sun hoodie that outperforms the rest
Light weight and soft to the skin this has quickly become one of my favorite sun hoodies. The UPF protection is so crucial in Arizona and it's classic Prana durability so I'm comfortable backpacking or climbing in it.
Good Golf Pullover
Have been looking for an affordable pullover with hood for fall and spring golf, and this worked out better than I thought it would. Very light weight, warm, and did not restrict my swing.
