Great jacket, but the logo peels too easily. North Face should switch to embroidery for durability. Warranty covers repairs, but it's frustrating.
This coat is everything from the well-designed color-blocking to the gender neutral olive colorway to the tonal grid pattern to the zippers to the elastic cuffs (so much easier for ski gloves than the traditional velcro) to the extreme warmth. I prefer an oversized fit so while I'm 5 ft. I bought the L. Would've loved a slightly longer style option but other than that, no notes. It's perfection.
I LOVE this jacket. I do wish the hip area was more boxy and had a synch cord. It can be a bit tight on the hips even tough I sized up. I really like that the powder skirt is removable to get rib of the added bulk. I wish there was an outer chest pocket. The wrist cuffs are a bit bulky. The jacket is super warm but sometimes it feels like the seams are not windproof. Overall very happy with the purchase. 10/10 for style points.
I ended up going with my normal size of XS after trying the XS and S. I'm 5'1" and 109 lbs for reference. The size small fit more oversized but the arm sleeve were slightly too long. If you're between sizes, I would size up. My main concern was how cropped it might be and both jackets ended up hitting my waist at about the same spot so I went with the smaller size for the better arm and shoulder fit.
The jacket is pure luxury. It has all of the bells and whistles that you would want in a snow jacket. The only issue was how bulky it was. Because I had originally intended to use it for snow sports, I thought the bulkiness restricted my movement a bit too much, so I sadly returned it. But if you're needing a warm jacket for extreme winter weather, this is it.
If you're looking for a cute puffer for snow activities, this is your sign to buy!! I love the pocket compartments for easy access to my pass. This puffer is super warm and comfortable to wear on a daily basis!
Love this coat. It's so warm and comfy. The water repellent shell was perfect for the rainy days when I didn't have my umbrella. And even with that I was still nice and warm. Best purchase hands down
love this coat so much!! keeps me so warm. perfect for being on the slopes and then transitioning to apres. i do wish there was a matching pair of mittens (north face hit me up if you make them)
5'5, 128 lbs, I got a small and it fits perfectly. Very warm and stylish, lots of pockets, not bulky, lightweight, but again very warm.
I pulled it out for the first time and I have gotten so many compliments. It's very warm as well
