This is my first vest as a runner, and I couldn’t have picked a better one to start with! It’s a great fit, super light, and the pockets are wonderful! The bottles don’t bounce around at all, neither did gels or chews. I did size up and I’m happy I did. I’m a female runner with a larger chest and the XL fit perfect!

Lightweight and comfortable for a woman

When I first got the vest I thought it was maybe too small because the fronts of the vest sat more at the sides of my chest, not the very front. I think this is just the design though because it feels comfortable, doesn't move around and isn't too tight. Lots of room in the pockets too.

Breathable, Light, Capacity

This vest does what it claims: It's light and breathable without having your stuff/water bounce around. The pockets are carefully placed and didn't rub my arms when they had my snacks inside. The water flasks were snug against my chest during my run. The upper rear pocket holds my phone playing music very nicely between my shoulder blades. (I can't run with headphones or I won't hear the cars coming from behind.) By the way, the whistle is in the top right shoulder pocket, see my picture. I am 5'6", 165lb, Male, with a 39-40" chest; I got a medium and it's close to maxed out fit-wise; If you are close to in between sizes I might suggest going with the larger size. That being said, the medium works perfectly for me. I just don't have any room to make it a looser fit. When I start drinking water/eating snacks I do tighten it little by little and all is fine. A very well thought out product, I am very pleased with it so far. Honestly chose this over other similar products by Salomon for the rad colors.

I've owned 5, 10, and 12 litter salomon vests, and this one is the best - no bounce, functional and roomy enough for up to 6-hour trail runs. I am 5'7" female, 130lb, 36B and Small fits perfectly.

Perfect for hot summer runs. Follow size chart. I’m normally a unisex small in tshirts, so I ordered a small vest- but returned for a medium. I’m female, 5”9, 150, 38” bust.
