Used to be better
I had to buy a new flask to replace, for the second time in year, a faulty one. I've been using some version of these flasks for years and still have old ones in my rotation (some for more than 6 years), but for some reason (maybe just unlucky ...) two of the newest model have failed me this year with tiny holes in the main body, causing leaking when full and pressure applied, like in a vest for example (including a brand new one that came with a running vest). The 3 stars is because I trust adjustments will be made (as they were made from a model that was very weak when I first bought them), and because I'm still using them.

Great for a trail race
My favorite bottles I have found so far. They work great and combined with the Salomon vests, they are easy to drink from while running. Bottles I have used in the past either leak or are difficult to drink from while moving. These flasks don't have either of those problems. Pros: 1. Easy to fill. I find these much easier to fill than other soft flasks I have used in the past. 2. Good rate of flow, easy to drink from while on the move. 3. Doesn't leak, the most important aspect of a soft flask. Cons: 1. Not insulated, doesn't keep water cool Overall I would recommend these bottles, you just have to make sure that you have a pocket in your vest long enough to fit them.
Broke on second use
I used this twice on runs. The second time the internal valve broke while I was drinking from it - very disappointing and also a choking hazard. Drinking from the soft flask normally should not have caused this to happen on the second use. Unusually poor quality for a Salomon product.
Everyone needs one of these!
I have been using these bottles ever since I started trail running and have found the need to keep extra for those days I have my kids join me - so easy to stash in my vest or pulse belt which makes it easy to prevent anyone getting dehydrated.
Plastic tip broke off
Bottle is easy to use and clean, but the plastic stopper broke off in my mouth after only a couple months of use. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like I can buy replacement caps..

The best thing since sliced bread
I got my 1st soft flasks with my advanced skin 5 pack. Later on I went on to purchase a few more for prefilling on race days. This product and the quick lace were some of the 1st things that solidified Solomon as a first class company in my opinion. The flasks are super cool looking and functional as well. Shrinks as you drink and super light. I've even found them handy for squirting water at myself to cool down. I saw a review saying the cap was hard to open. I disagree. If you grip the inside of the cap its very easy to twist off. You can also reinflate it to stuff back into your chest pocket easily. I was worried these would leak or somehow develop problems but after 3 months mine still look and perform like they are brand new. Super quality product, thanks Salomon.
Decent but awkward to use
The flasks are built well and easy to fill. I have the Solomon XT 15 pack and these are very difficult to insert into the front water pouches without spurting water everywhere. The spout/mouth piece is very sensitive; the slightest touch and water is going everywhere. One have to take extra care not to touch the nozzle.. I have not been able to buy straws for the flasks as they are currently unavailable and seem to be not really usable or at least difficult to use without one. They should come with the straw and cap as the nozzle is so sensitive to touch water leaks out easily inserting or carried any other way other than upright in front pouch. Recommended only with the additional purchase of straw and cap but then the price becomes quite high and availability is not good.

Great design but taste is unbearable
Love the concept and performance of this bottle when paired with Active Skin 4. With that said, the taste is absolutely unbearable, especially when the water has been sitting in the bottles for more than a few minutes. Super disappointed in this because it's been a complete waste of purchase (Active Skin 4) until I can find a hydration solution that doesn't taste like a shot of plastic. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this bottle and the Active Skin 4 for that matter.

It’s been awesome… durable and hasn’t grown mold
I’ve been using this for roughly a year now and it’s seen many runs. I’m surprised by how rigid the material is, as in amazed that this hasn’t cracked or torn cause it’s been abused. Also no mold growing at all, and I’ve left water in this overnight and for days for many days. My only issue is that after drinking a little it loses air and shape. But it’s no big deal I don’t need to cut seconds on training runs or ultras. Keeps water cool enough and super pack able
