Kept my son warm and dry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son wore this during a class trip to the mountains in CO in September. The weather called for light rain on and off in the afternoons, and my son said this jacket kept him warm and dry. He didn't go outside when it started pouring so I can't say how it would do in heavy rains. This seems like a huge upgrade from the more basic rain jacket that Columbia sells, which my older son wore when he did the same trip a few years ago. Much more insulation and warmth.
