Hoka Challenger 7 Trail

Not only are these shoes comfortable, on the trail there is no match. Able to grip slick rocks at steep inclines with a wide base that’s stable. After wearing these two times , I am interested on purchasing a couple more of the same brand. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on the color.

Tread fell off during 2nd backpacking trip

I normally LOVE Hoka Challengers but this pair fell apart in barely 7 months. After only 2 backpacking trips the tread is peeling off. Not just a piece or two, the ENTIRE tread. Sadly I noticed parts of it ripping off while I was hiking, so I’m sure there are bits of Hoka in the tread in the High Sierras. 🙁 The loose tread also made me slip and trip.
