Brooks  Momentum Thermal Tights 2.0 - Women's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about these tights is the way I didn’t need to adjust them during my runs. The material stayed in place and I suspect that it helped to have the right fit. For reference, I am 5’ 3” and 138lbs and wore a size M. I was impressed because I usually need petite sizing but the length was just about right. The side slip pockets are perfect for extra items (if you don’t mind your phone there) while the back zippered pocket holds my lip balm and keys— makes my runs a lot easier. They also wash nicely. I plan on buying several because for my build it is hard to find well fitting and useful tights. I highly recommend!

Brooks thermal tights have earned my loyalty. I've purchased three of the original version, and the 2.0 is an upgraded model. They offer similar thickness and warmth; however, this updated version is slightly larger and cuffless, featuring bigger side pockets that can accommodate my iPhone Pro Max. I'm 5'5"" and 127 lbs, size M is a perfect fit for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tights/leggings were so comfortable. I really like the material and how they are not see through. I love the dark blue color and the pockets to hold my phone while I walk or run. The little zip pocket on the top back is so cute and great for some money or ID. The pants kept me warm but had enough breathability to be comfortable. I don’t like my legs being super cold during fall and winter when I train. These are going to be my go to in cold weather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These leggings are a great catch for fall/winter exercise! The added thermal warmth has been perfect for cold morning dog walks/hikes — A few hours in 50F without a single shiver. Haven’t worn them out running running yet because the temps haven’t dropped enough, but I think they’ll be perfect for runs in the low 30s. I even had to wear these for a (room temp) yoga class after grabbing the wrong leggings from my drawer and I didn’t overheat, so I think they’re great for multipurpose use. The side pockets are great size for my iPhone 15 Pro (with wallet case), and the back zipper pocket is perfect for keys & emergency needs. As a 5’4” athlete with longer legs, the length was perfect, ending just above my quarter socks. Because I don’t have the widest hips, I struggle a bit with these slowly riding down over the course of my activities. The drawstring is a great addition to keep them up, but I still had to occasionally pull them back up to the proper positioning. All in all — these are awesome thermal exercise leggings with great pockets, rhe perfect length, and awesome temperature regulation, but the waist band could be a bit more compressive on my body shape to maintain the right height.

These are nice—soft and fit true to size, with excellent pockets—but not for "the coldest day of the year" as the product description promises, unless you happen to live in the south. I trialed them in 20 degrees and they were just fine. But I was, and still am, looking for a backup to my Sugoi subzero tights. I understand on actual sub zero days you have to layer over a base with any tight. But I wouldn't trust these tights for that kind of cold protection. In addition to not being particularly toasty, the inseam is only 27" so not full coverage. I would say these are good for down to 15-20 degrees, depending on how long you're out there and what your cold tolerance is. Might be great for some, but if you're looking for a -10-10 top layer these aren't it. One other note, the inseam on these is 27 which is very short for us tall folk, especially for a tight that is supposed to keep you warm.

I wore these this morning when it was 24 degrees and dark. I was comfortable throughout the entire run. The tights had a great fit and did not move throughout the 8 miles. They kept heat in, stayed in place the whole run, and did not rub anywhere. I’m very impressed and these will be my go-to cold weather tights!

I think these will be my go to leggings when it gets cooler/cold out because they keep you very warm. I did find myself pulling them up several times, they are not big on me but they would start to fall down.
