Slim Fit with a "Band"

This parka is "Slim Fit" and it has an interior "band" around the back of the parka and just below the rib cage. I tried it on while wearing a Patagonia Better Sweater and Vest and it was "fit forming." It would be better if the parka didn't have this "band."
