Reflective details and zip pocket!
I purchased for reflective details that stand out during low light conditions. My usual size is Missy 4 or 6. I purchased size medium because I didn't want a really tight fit. They worked out for my first short run (<9K) and wash (inside out, cool temp, hang dry). PROS: Zippered back pocket w/ pull tab cord, 2 deep side pockets, zippers at ankles with pull tabs, substantial material for colder weather running, reflective. CONS: No draw cord at waist, reflective details look as if they are screen printed onto the fabric so I question the longevity of the reflective characteristics, the fabric isn't brushed or fleeced inside so I question the usefulness for running when temps are below freezing? The pants would be A+ if they had reflective threads incorporated into the garment (similar to the matching hoodie) and a draw cord at the waist. Overall, a good cold weather running wardrobe staple.
Awesome leggings
Gosh, these are fun, sporty, and comfy. The design is visually interesting, and adds to their look. I am a size 10, but age is producing some belly interest, so I purchase the large as these are “running” tights. I don’t run, ever, but I walk at night when it’s dark through my neighborhoods, and I wanted something that would increase my presence for drivers of cars. These are great for that, and the larger size fits perfectly. Super pleased with purchase and REI’s quick shipping.
