Wanted to love them
I had the previous version and it was my all time favorite glove! I was very excited to get the new waterproof version but unfortunately the usability has been ruined by the watch opening. The watch spot is a neat idea but it doesn't line up with my watch and it has now made the mitt pocket way too small and extremely difficult to use while moving. If you add any kind of dampness or cold fingers to that equation it makes it even harder. Sometimes the mitt pocket gets twisted up around the watch opening and becomes completely useless. I think these gloves are just going to live in my car as a backup glove. Super bummed.
Awesome!
I love these gloves! I had bought a pair of black diamond gloves similar to this a few years ago and lost them. Tried other brands didn’t love them as much. My only issue is that I have very bad arthritis in my hands and the wrist cuff is a little bit tight. Not too tight but tight for a person with arthritic hands to squeeze through however, it’s not a dealbreaker because it’s not super Duper tight, but it’s a little tight. I wish the blue over mitts had a bigger space to hide away in because it’s bulky again not a dealbreaker. They’re really nice looking and you can be a lefty or righty and still use your phone because there are fingertips on both gloves to utilize your phone or whatever.
Cover and gloves inner mismatch
Right hand had left handed cover, started the warranty process to get replacements. Quality otherwise seems to be great!
Hybrid glove
Pros: - convertible, waterproof cover. Best waterproof solution I’ve found for thru-hiking. - surprisingly warm. Cons: - Each glove needs two tab pulls. One on the glove wrist to pull it on. A second tab to pull the cover up. You loose dexterity when you have the cover over the fingers, so you need a tab to grab to pull the cover down.
Great for trail running
I love these gloves! They are soft and warm on the inside with a waterproof hood that covers the whole front and back of your entire hand, and when you don’t want it, can be stored up in the wrist. I have been stuck in some crazy weather on mountains with the wrong gloves and it’s nice to finally have something warm and waterproof!
Quality Materials
I haven't used these extensively yet but the quality of materials and wind-breaking outer layer will be making these my new winter running gloves where warmth is needed while maintaining breathability. Super versatile design with the outer wind-breaking shell. Very happy with these.
Great for cold hands
These have been awesome for trail running! I get cold hands very easily and lose circulation, these have kept my hands warm and the hood can be popped on for extra warmth as needed. Already planning to buy a second pair to add to my rotation.
Cold Morning Runs
This is the second pair for me, the first pair still works. They work perfectly when starting a morning run in the cold, then storing the wind hoods after a few miles and the body temperature comes up enough to keep me warm.
Convertible Glove
Excellent, lightweight glove. Good fit. Would be nice if the wind mitt had a storage compartment sewn into the wrist or even back of hand.
Awesome Tahoe running gloves
Tahoe's winters are typically not super cold. These hybrid gloves are the perfect weight and warmth for winter runs.
