Excellent Universal Backpack
Designed as a cycling bag, but the size and feature set make for an excellent universal backpack for EDC and day hiking. The dimensions are perfect for a personal item/under seat air travel bag, even for stingy budget airlines. Comfortable shoulder straps with sternum strap, removable waist strap, water bottle pocket can hold a one liter Nalgene and two zippered outer pockets. The horizontal daisy chain will hold a bicycle U-lock.
Great for Travel and EDC
This is a solid upgrade from the previous version in almost every way. Very comfortable shoulder straps and back panel, panel opening for great access, love the top dump pocket, back ventilation is great. This is a perfect minimalist travel bag and EDC at a very reasonable price.
Excellent Commuter Pack
As usual, REI has good construction and the features you need for a good mid size commuter back. this is perfect for someone who bikes to work with dark material to not show the dirt of the road & reflective spots to aid in visibility.
