clip broke on one of bags 425 days after I bought it.
Nice bags. But when mounted as directed on my Blackburn rack, my heels hit the bags. No bueno… So …. I had to modify my rack by installing an aluminum flange and using bungies instead of fasteners on the bag to move mounted bags back 6-8” which then provided adequate room for pedal stroke without hitting my heels on the bags:) bueno!
These are great for exactly what they are - compact, easy to throw on, roll-up + buckle closure, light water resistance, affordable, seemingly well-made, and very stable on my back rack; perfect for commuting or a for a bike-trip weekend away. I've had no issues with them staying closed. They aren't Ortliebs, and that's perfectly fine for me. I'm happy to have an economical and decent looking option for my bike-trip weekends.
Bought during sale. Affordable and spacious. Don't expect rain to bead off but it will repel light rain well enough. I prefer straps to clip attachments and it accommodates well on my sunlite rack. Used for carrying books, change of clothes, laptop, and occasional groceries.
Look good. While they’re not meant to be water proof, they are almost impossible to keep closed unless the packs are full. Otherwise, they open and small things come out.
I bought these for around town on my flat bar gravel bike, they are perfect. I use them on a topeak explorer, the fit good easy on and off and still give you access to lash onto the rack 10/10 would reccomend
I spent about 30 minutes writing a detailed review, then your GD software threw it away. Will briefly restate that the clips locked up onto my rack so that I couldn’t get the pannier off without taking everything out of the pannier and off the rack. So, a good bag for commuting but not for touring.
The saddlebag panniers look well made with thoughtful consideration for commuters. Different pockets are available in each saddlebag while the rolltop provides flexibility. It would be even better if the bags were expandable. Now I only need to worry about how it will hold up in the rain.
Haven’t put it on my bike yet but I think it will be a great way to carry more stuff than the singe side bag I already have and will keep and use as well when I don’t have that much to carry.
Really nice saddlebags Why is there a zipper? I used to be able to take to the old rei saddlebags to the beach. No longer; the salt will eat the steal. Returned.
