The bike is amazing! I just got it this week, and it's been great so far. I wouldn’t consider myself a "professional cyclist," but I've been cycling for about five years now, and I think this is a really good bike. It's pretty light, and the components are solid. Overall, I would recommend it without hesitation. I was looking for a hybrid bike with good gearing for both gravel and road, light weight and "budget friendly". After extensive research, I concluded that this was the perfect bike. Thanks to the 46/30 crankset, it's perfect—great for climbing (which is ideal for gravel here in the PNW) and good for road riding. Clearly, it's not going to be as fast as a road bike, but close. The technology is great! SmartSense is a fantastic feature. If you download the Cannondale app, you essentially get a built-in cycling computer, showing speed, distance, and time, and you can turn the lights on and off at your convenience. The battery life has been solid so far.
The bike looks great, smartsense works well. However the crankset is an FSA one and not the advertised Shimano GRX 600. When I brought the discrepancy up with the Flagship Store bike shop I was offered I can order the GRX 600 on my own money and they said it’s not their fault because the manufacturer sent the whole set with FSA crankset. Not sure just yet how I feel about this.
Beautiful bike with some nice features. It has a lovely ride and the smart sense worked as advertised. I wasn't worried about being seen from behind. Bike felt quick, shifts were smooth. I'm happy with my purchase.
Miserable experience with SmartSense tech. Literally got the bike the night before and the battery doesn't charge. Spent all day going back and forth with Cannondale, with the tech proposing a bunch of far fetched solutions, and eventually was told to go back to REI and let them deal with it! That is some INEXCUSABLE "customer service"! I haven't even tried the bike yet because am getting hung up on the silly tech stuff. Now I need to find and waste a day to go back to the store because Cannondale/REI didn't test the freaking battery they gave me! INFURIATING!
More than pleased. I'm done with electric bikes. Needed something to get back into some serious riding. Here it is.
