At first this was an amazing jacket! It was comfortable and light and perfect as a lighter midlayer for skiing. Howver, after only 3 wears the zipper on the pocket straight up came out. It looks like it was never sewn in, maybe the design is that it's glued? Either way, it came out. The coat is intact, no tearing the zipper is intact... Very strange failure or lack of quality control. I'm disappointed because it felt like an amazing piece for fall and winter layering. My other Mammut gear (Ski jacket, gloves, pants, fall coat) is excellent, so I'm not sure what happened with this item. I've tried contacting Mammut but it's been over two weeks and I've heard nothing.

Awesome Layer

Light well-made layer! Great company too. I am never disappointed with MAMMUT! This runs large just so you know but it is really nice to have a Lightweight fleece for any time of year. I use this around the house, skiing, and while playing disc golf. Love this piece, I wish they had more color options but black goes with everything so it works. I took this to Europe and was super stylish on both sides of the pond! Cheers!

Fits true to size. Not too tight like a baselayer, but snug enough to feel comfortable. There aren't any hand pockets, but the chest pocket is a nice piece. Material is very comfortable! Definitely thin enough like a track jacket, but is warm enough to be comfortable at mid 50F temperatures with a t-shirt underneath. The style is really nice as I always get compliments whenever I wear this.

Great wicking layer for wide temperature ranges

Very comfortable material. Looser fit than the Eiger lineups. Nice spring layer for ski touring, and great mid-layer under a ski jacket on colder days. If you're planning to use it as an outer layer, be aware that it can snag on branches and possibly tear little holes. For spring days, I'd prefer to go with a more robust material, but this one just breathes so darn well.

Solid choice for functionality and style.

I've been using my this light fleece for runs on cold days and as a layer on hikes. The fit and feel is comfortable and manages heat well. I'm reluctant to take it on multiple day winter outings because the zipper is not as robust as I personally prefer for use in more extreme environments, but overall I've been very pleased with this for my current needs.

Excellent and verstile light fleece midlayer

This piece replaced my old similar layer made out of Polertec Power dry(Old Arc Konseal) that was my most used layer in the mountains and for running in cold temperatures. There is a huge spectrum of use in this lightweight, extremely high quality fleece. I expect it to last several years of hard use.

Feels decent, but no pockets

I've enjoyed this light jacket, it is a little loose fitting and is a little on the lightweight side. I will most likely wear this more as a mid layer. Oh yeah, and there's no pockets of your hands or anything else, just the one chest pocket, took me off guard.

style over substance

Comfortable and stylish (till the logo started peeling off a bit at a time). Unfortunately, mine had a defect in the seam on arrival and the logo came off within a few months, also had some pilling. Functionally similar to R1 or other light fleece.

Very stylish - bought a medium (6ft, medium build). Hiked in North Vancouver in -10 conditions with this as my outer layer. This will be my mid layer choice from now. My only issue is it's pretty snug for a medium.
