Session time
Great bag with enough compartment to organise my climibng gear and travelling.
Pretty nice bag
Nice bag, good space and easy to pack/access the main compartments. Feels pretty durable. The strap is comfortable and allot of adjustment in length. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. The only thing I don't really like is the inside pockets on the flap. the non mesh one is tight and mostly only holds a few flat objects. the above mesh one is a little looser but doesn't open quite wide enough to easily pack or access the compartment.
Perfect for trips
I haven’t had this bag long but already loving it, I am not using it for its intended purpose, but have been looking for a travel bag and this really fits the bill. Very organised with two different compartments and very spacious. Durable material. Only thing is that it could have better handles for carrying.
Advise
It is not prepared to carry a computer or a tablet, it would have been very easy to incorporate a pocket in the internal wall, the padded one, to transport it comfortably It is a failed in my opinión, the rest is fine.
Hi Cipri. Thanks for sharing your feedback on the Ion Gear Organizer. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with it not featuring a laptop sleeve. As it is designed to carry gear for bouldering, that is the reason why it would not spotlight commuting specific features. For packs suitable for commuting, we recommend looking at our Granville and Mantis lines.
Great bouldering organizer
Used for bouldering. I found that it expands to hold more gear than you would expect. This bag easily holds two pairs of shoes, 1.5L nalgene, knee pads, ryobi mini fan, food. The two compartments are nice. The mesh one letting your shoes ventilate a little, and the other one having some zippered compartments for things like nail clippers or mosquito coils. The strap is comfortable worn as a messenger bag. Having it strapped high wearing in front it does not bump into my legs too much. I would have liked to be able to access both pouches from outside of the bag. I end up using one pouch more than the other because of that. I wish the briefcase handle was a double handle on the other side as carrying the bag by the handle requires zipping up all compartments. Having the handles the other way makes it easier to do a quick briefcase carry. I've tried hooking the bag onto my crashpad but in practice it doesn't work too well. The strap is not quite long enough to comfortably get around an organic large pad and having the weight so high and back makes walking difficult.
