Disappointing design changes
I absolutely loved the Endura Singletrack jacket that I bought 7 years ago, in fact loved it to death. It was perfect for both cycling and day hiking, and had the vertical chest pocket that is so hard to find in a light-weight, waterproof jacket. What a disappointment the updated version is. The attached stash pocket for the hood is gone, as is the soft-lined collar, the internal flap pocket, and the high-visibility red-orange color. But the worst part is the horizontal chest pocket, which was a hassle to access and on which the zipper immediately broke — I returned the jacket. Bought Endura’s Humvee jacket instead, which is missing most of the same attributes that the new Singletrack jacket is missing, but at least it has a vertical chest pocket that’s easy to access.
