Great running shoes, my feet feel supported the shoes are so comfortable I bought them for running but lately I’ve been using them for my work where I have to be on my feet for 8 hours and no pain on my feet they feel even more comfortable than those crappy Skechers o bought for work. What I love about these running shoes is that they keep making them with a normal sole other brands and other Saucony models are so big and look really monstrous like shoes for disabled people I’m not sure why they’re making shoes so big but these Kinvara 16 are perfect they look like normal running shoes just what I was looking for and I encourage Saucony to keep making this model and normal running shoes I hate to see those big soles on running shoes look so ridiculous will be buying more of this model since I’m already using this for work I will buy a pair just for running so comfortable
Absolutely love my new Sauconys, and they look good and match almost any outfit I wear! I had a very old pair of Sauconys from when I was a serious runner, and so I figured why not replace them with the same brand/company. Especially since I was looking for quality running shoes, not shoes that are just popular or more “marketed”. Love them! Been even more excited to go on my runs. I have bunions, so foot wear is super important, and I can be particular about the fit, but these ones definitely fit perfect and do not cause me foot pain. :)
Thank you for having a normal shoe and give me a reason to stick with Saucony. I have been a loyal customer for decades but the last 5 or 6 years have been disappointing. Was in Rides forever, they were great until they weren't. Endorphin Shift 1 was awesome 2nd terrible 3rd ugly and now obsolete. Guide, Triumph, Hurricane too much cushioning and big. I am 5'1" they looked like clown shoes on me. These were my last try and have to say they are awesome. Look more like a normal running or lifestyle shoe. Good on treadmill and road. Well built cute style, may get another color. Wish they had a little more cushion but will take it over too much cushion.
I am a lover of Kinvara 13 and 14 and the 15s were a major disappointment so I was looking forward to some improvements for the 16s and while I love the shoes over all, they're just too narrow in the toe box! I've worn them for two weeks now every day trying to get the shoe to relax but something about the material is very hard and firm, no give at all. My pinky toe and my big toe feel so squished on the sides. I may need to give up on them which will be very disappointing since they're not a cheap shoe and I am very picky with my running shoes. Maybe a wide version some day?
Love this shoe. Lightweight, supportive. ASICS Noosa Tri 8 are still my favorite shoe to date, but I have never found anything comparable for mid/distance runs. Mizuno Wave Rider 27 were about the closest. But this Kinvara, while it feels lighter with a lower heel, is up there for me. I did what you’re supposed to do and popped them on for the first time for a 15K and had no pain. Three weeks later, I raced a 10K one day and a half marathon the next and it all felt great.
I had been waiting for the Kinvara 16 because it had been billed as a return to the classic specs. I ordered on the first day they were available and they definitely did not disappoint. I lam so happy with the light weight, the airy upper and especially the lower stack height I always loved about the Kinvara. I tried them alongside my 14s and 15s and they are definitely lower to the ground and a lot softer in the midsole. The Cameo model is a lovely soft pink I'm already in love with. Kinvara lovers, rejoice!
After wearing Kinvaras for years, I was devastated by the changes made to the 14s, with the super thick sole. I couldn't wear them, they were so different from the light weight, low profile, neutral runners I was used to. But the 16s have thankfully returned to what everyone loved about Kinvaras! Thank you, Saucony! My feet and legs are so happy, these fit like a dream and feel so good when I'm running!
Loved the older Kinvara (11, 12, 13) but was not happy with the 14 and 15 models. The 16 is a huge improvement and much more similar to the older styles I loved. I’m not a fan of high cushion shoes, and the Kinvara is a great low stack option, which is hard to find these days.
So far so good. I like the Kinvara for the low drop and comfortable fit. I wish the toe box could be slightly wider for better toe activation. I also wish they could have the goodyear sole or something a bit more durable. I continue to like most versions of the Kinvara and so far I do like the 16.
