I was so excited to get this product, that excitement quickly wore off after wearing this item a few times in the backcountry. The matcha is absolutely beautiful, but it stains RIGHT AWAY. Even with a tech wash, this staining does not come out. If you're going to make a light colour product, ensure it can be washed or at least hold up against the elements, afterall...it is meant to be exposed to the elements! The zipper is a whole other story. The amount of times I've had to remove my gloves to perfectly align the dual zipper is all too much. Both zippers do not line up, creating extreme frustration when you are in the backcountry trying to transition. High price for a low quality item.
It's a stylish jacket with great features. The cut is good and the color is a useful high-vis when out battling the elements. The greatest thing about the jacket is the side vent design. Let's face it, the best way to make a waterproof jacket breathable is to take it off, and the sides open up entirely on this one! It really is great to have an extension on the tried and true pit-zip functionality.
North same Gore Tex feel of my prior OR jacket. Very thin, feels like a light raincoat. No interior pockets, no snow skirt. How is this advertised as a snow jacket without these features?
