New favorite hoodie
I work for OR and got to test out the Vesper during a couple backpacking and hiking trips this summer and fall. The vesper is an amazing piece - it packs into itself, is super light weight, its great for throwing on at camp, hiking in, and wearing around town. I'm excited to throw it into my ski kit as well for colder days on the mountain as a mid-layer.
Lovely jacket, might be perfect
I just received this jacket but have yet to wear/test it in cold windy weather. As I am between sizes and wanted to use the jacket as a mid-layer I sized up to a large. It is roomy with a merino base layer or grid fleece or both. I could even fit another layer and still not feel like a sausage. The jacket has lots of flexibility for movement. I tend to run warm when out walking so I hope it's not too warm but adjusting a base layer should be a solution to overheating. . It layers great under my rain jacket. It packs down to easily fit in daypack. The hood will keep out the wind and not blow off with a wind gust. Side pockets are very roomy. Chest pocket is kinda small not certain what I'll use if for. I purchased this jacket to replace a Patagonia Nano Puff jacket that I do like however it has too many seams that don't hold up well. The Aurora blue is sort of teal, very pretty. Fit is flattering. Really pleased with this purchase
Comfy, stylish, and warm!
Great jacket, fit and color look amazing and overall quality is superb. Outdoor research always has top notch products and this one checks all the boxes. I would highly recommend this for outdoor activities and even if you just need a daily driver. Easy to pack and layer while still looking stunning. Can’t get over the color it really looks good in everything, don’t hesitate you’ll enjoy this jacket too !!!
Perfect item for multiple uses
Just got mine yesterday and I love that the medium gives me just enough room, to layer a bit. I love the BRIGHT RED, how light it is. This is going to live my in car, where my most-used items are hung across a bar. Very happy.
Solid Jacket for Spring/Fall activities!
Love this jacket! It is durable and water resistant which is great for hiking, biking, and camping. It’s comfortable and flattering at the same time. Perfect for the northwest climate and crisp Fall days, the fit was great!
Replacing an old Patagonia Nano-Air® Ultralight Full-Zip Hoody. Sizing seems accurate. Using it for laying in outdoor activities year round. Like the Aurora color, texture and zippers. Would buy it again.
