Very soft and comfortable. It’s a perfect lighter weight for the mild Pacific Northwest, where I can add a vest and/or rain jacket and be ready for most of our winter weather. I’ve come to prefer wool for layering as it doesn’t hang on to the stink like the synthetics do, and this Wild Rye does not disappoint. I’m 5 ‘ 4 “ and 140 lb with thick torso/narrow hips and this fits me well.
