These feel so much like super shoes that I had to double check the description after wearing them the first time! I was so shocked there wasn't a carbon plate! These can definitely work as both everyday trainers and shoes for road workouts and tempos.
Springy and lively underfoot, great for workout days on the track or roads!
WOW! Hands down this shoe has become one of my favorite pairs. I love them more than my evo sl’s and Superblasts, which I didn’t think could be possible. I put them on for a speed workout and they did great, even felt amazing underfoot for my easy paced warm up. I did go up a half size from my normal running shoe size (mainly because they ran out my regular size during the preorder in the color way I wanted), but this size has worked well. I don’t feel any tightness in the toe box and my foot doesn’t slip around.
Tried this because it's supposed to be narrower than the others, but still wide. So many great options and new models and nothing in a narrow for more competitive runners. There must be more serious runners with narrow feet that would love to wear shoes other than the basic cushion or heavier support shoe. Please make more narrow shoes!!!
I was skeptical at first. I am not a fan of thick cushion shoes! These felt perfect on my 5k and 10k runs I am wanting to check out the Mega and Super Blast as well. I have worn ASICS since I ran cross country in college. I have tried other running shoes I always go back to ASICS! I normally run in the ASICS Nimbus or Kanyo
I've run in the ASICS GT 1000 or 2000 series for years, but this was my first speed shoe. I am so impressed at how they compare to my carbons! They feel light, yet supportive and snappy. I've done a couple long training runs with race pace in these and they've held up nicely. Really happy with them!
I've done two workouts in these so far and have loved the bounce, forward roll, stability of the foam/midsole and the breathability of the uppers! For "just" a PEBAX plate, these are snappy like a carbon plate and I'm probably going to wear these for race day :)
Love the responsive bounce. Feels great on my knees. I have been wearing novablast and really like them. The sonicblast is even more cushioned. Will likely get another pair later.
Heel slips out of shoe. Fit is true to size, but even with a heel lock my heel slips out. My friend had the same experiences.
Soft, cushiony, and elegant - perfect for short or longer runs
