Even better than the pants!
I have both the mantle pants and shorts. They are just as good as the pants: simple, durable, well-designed. The pants taper quite a bit, which was a not unpleasant surprise… These are the perfect cut.
Durability / Comfort / Some Style
I purchased these shorts for climbing but also getting around town on my bike. The fabric can weather the NH granite but also works cycling to a casual dinner in one of Boston's neighborhoods.
Wide leg
Material is and construction is nice, but legs are cut much wider than other Black Diamond shorts. Can feel like a skort.
Great fit
Not sure who the sizing model BD shorts are based on, but it must be my twin. Fit better than and other shorts I have.
