Replace your Salomon Quest Boots with these

If you are looking for a pair of boots to replace your Salomon Quest 4 GTX which fell apart way too soon, buy these. These boots are insane. For reference, I normally wear size 11 in running shoes, and I also normally wear size 11 in Salomon hiking footwear. I ordered an 11 and they fit perfectly. They have a very similar feel to the Salomon boots; they are almost like a well supported running shoe. The ankle support was a must for me, and the 8" high collar is perfect. I also ordered a pair of the 996 VIOZ Lux boots, which are also amazing. But I ended up returning them because I really loved the lightweight feel of the Thunder Pro's, and how the outsole really feels like a running shoe but with boot support. The outsole grips rock on steel slopes really well. This is also a boot I can trail run down slopes in, which is something I could do in my Salomon's and really appreciated.
