Glad to get this!
Cannondale is known for quality bike frames. This frame is excellent quality; a road frame feel but with a more upright ride. This combo is great for the gravel trails with versatility for streets. Plus, as a 46 year old looking to keep control of maneuverability and keep comfort in the shoulders and upper back with spinal extension in longer rides, this works very well. So happy and grateful with the support from REI's sales team, Michael to the bike mechanic for the guidance and help from the test ride to purchase.
Excellent value gravel bike
This is an excellent bike with great value components and an excellent geometry. While it handles gravel and trails with ease, it's really responsive for road riding and climbs superbly. My take there is the frame and also that the wheels are great quality for the price. I'm 5ft 8 and ride the Medium and it fits me very well. I've also ridden gravel bikes costing more than 1K more than this and not felt a difference, aside perhaps in them having hydraulic brakes. Also, it was really well set up with snappy and precise gear changes, which you really appreciate when climbing steep gradients. Shout out to the REI cycling team at North Austin for that as they did a fantastic job setting it up. Highly recommended for a fun bike, that excels at many things and all at a great price.
