*Review is for fit only I am 6'1", 185 lbs, around 39" hip, 34" waist, 23" thighs, usually wear a 32-33 waist pant. I got a size M and it fits perfect. I tried on the REI First Chair GTX in M and was worried about the sizing, but this fits much better. In comparison the REI was tighter in the waist and flared a lot in the legs. The straps are low profile and the vents look great for dumping heat. There is mesh liner on the left vent which could be nice to leave open while going downhill, but I might cut it open for more air flow. Not tons of pocket space, but if it's your only piece of resort gear for the day you can carry phone, keys, wallet, and a snack/water.
