Osprey got a lot right with the Ultralight Stuff Waist Pack. Obviously the weight, at around 3 oz. Also the internal key pocket. My favorite feature? The offset belt buckle stays out of the way and makes it possible to wear with a pack, even if the pack has a hip belt. Throw in the All Mighty Guarantee (but I’ve had mine 2 years with no issues). Holds a reasonable amount of gear and is stable trail running.

Poorly conceived buckle

The buckle design feels great until you realize they have made a fanny pack that is easier than usual to accidentally remove. I personally would like it to be very difficult to remove the bag that holds my phone and wallet when i’m thru-hiking. Bag is great otherwise though.

Osprey Pack Number 6

Yet another Osprey pack in my quiver of of Osprey products. I needed a small hip/fanny pack that I could pack away for travel and this fits well. The size is misleading because Osprey seems to use small people to demonstrate their product but it still works for what I need. It fits a average sized wallet, big iPhone, keys and a very small water bottle. This is great for daily use, travel, Disneyland and wherever else you are traveling light. It surprisingly well hidden under a loose shirt. I bought the black color because it's less conspicuous for city use but if you are just using it on the trail or in Europe the other colors look good.

Close to perfect.

Super light weight but doesnt sag or tug when full to the brim. Easily enough room for large cell phone keys wallet sunscreen, snack and small first aid. You will have to carry water elsewhere on your body cuz no water bottle or bladder holder. But whether on the trail near camp or travel or sporting events or around town - this is as roomy and light weight with comfy adjustable belt that stays put as I have found. No mini compartments on the belt. Dont need em since the main compartment and small zipper outside pouch are ample. Very happy and in use often. rolls up into tiny self inside pouch.

Great Travel Companion

I got this primarily for when I travel as it collapse in to itself and makes it small enough to put in my backpack. I've on plenty of trips where carrying a backpack was over kill and cumbersome. After my most recent trip, I used this as my EDC and just put in the necessities. And boy, I felt very free not having to carry a big bag with me as most times, I tend to over pack it with unnecessary items. The 2 pockets are enough to get me through my travels. I did wish that the strap was a little thicker and I tend to wear this crossbody.

Can Be Taken Anywhere!

True to its name, this bag is ULTRALIGHT! It zips into an internal pocket which makes it easily thrown in a carry on for use when you get to your destination. A good amount of room inside, but doesn't have a ton of organization options, other than the outside pocket and smal internal pocket.

Perfect size, feel, color and style. A+

I LOVE my new waist pack. It's the perfect size to wear as a crossbody bag and it fits all my essentials: phone, keys (biggish keychain w/ several keys), sunglasses, credit card pouch and lip balm. It's soft and flexible, not stiff and hard, and the color and style are just what I had hoped for. It's easy and comfortable to wear and my hands are free to shop, walk, or whatever... It's perfect.

Nice color and does the job

I bought this for my husband who isn’t too proud to wear a Fanny pack to the gym. The blue color is nice and it works for him. We love Osprey so even with the thin fabric it will hopefully hold up better than his last one.

narrow opening, unusable space

There is no way this is 2 liters. Even if it is, the space is hard to access thanks to a small opening that does not span the length of the pack. There is unusable volume up high in the corners. If these things don’t phase you, it’s otherwise of good build and fits and looks nice…..and yes it’s small and lightweight.
