My first pair of On shoes. I bought them because i wanted waterproof shoes. They are comfortable and fit great. I have been wearing Hoka but could not find anything waterproof. Happy with both On and Hoka.
I love these shoes for their comfort, however, they wore out quickly. Both shoes developed a hole in the top of shoe where the toes meet the feet. A natural crease forms here, but holes developed after only 2 1/2 months of use. I use them for trail walking, about 20 miles per week.
Love this brand for comfort and waterproofness but was hoping the color would be darker as on screen - computers can vary of course. But they are a very light cream and you can see the gradient as a weird pattern which I kind of don’t like. Rather prefer them to be darker / saturated in color to hide the dirt a bit. Might return.
I was skeptical about these since all of my previous trail runners (various brands) have had a lot more traction and tread and I didn't want to take a chance on slipping. I like to speed hike and bought these specifically because I wanted lightweight comfort and the ability to run as well. I took these out a couple of times and just walked 4 or 5 miles on paved and even ground just to see how there felt and they seemed pretty comfortable so I decided to wear them for a 20 mile hike with 2900 elevation gain. They worked very well for both hiking and running. I navigated around quite a few muddy spots and my feet stayed dry. I didn't slip at all (it was level ground in the muddy spots), not certain they would have enough traction if trying to gain elevation in rainy and muddy conditions. I was highly impressed by the comfort and how I didn't need much wear at all to break them in and zero hot spots, blisters or issues of any kind which has never happened before when I do these kinds of events. I'm new to this brand and noticed however a major size variance in the different shoe models and so some run big and some seem more true to size. I have new road runners that are a half size smaller but I love them too.
I would give it 10 stars for comfort if I could. The traction on the tread wore down really quickly. I’ve had the shoes just 4 months. They are no longer waterproof, even when just walking through wet grass. Still, I recently bought a second pair for the comfort.
I love Cloudsurfer Trail shoes (Have 3 pairs) BUT these have an issue. The tongue is attached on the inside of the shoe and it rubs on the top of my foot on both sides. So disappointed!
