Not for me
I bought this belt online without trying it on first (rural area). I prefer my belts to sit at my hips rather than waist. This belt feels like a warm apron. It bounces when bottle is full. Wearing it at back makes it impossible to access the bottle; even with bottle in front I have a hard time getting the soft flask out of and back into pocket while running. The storage pocket isn’t a fit for me either. My phone, pepper spray, chews bounce. If there was a way to secure phone (12mini) the pocket would be more functional. Elasticity in belt straps would help belt sit more securely. The hydrapak bottle is great and I use it alone, handheld with a strapped rigged to the back for grip.
Hydration belt
I've only used it to carry water as my phone goes in my shorts pocket and I haven't needed to carry fuel. I'm finding it hard to get used to. If I wear it with the pouch in the back, the strap feels tight across my stomach, so I wear it in the front. It's not uncomfortable, just a little weighty. I've tried other belts and wasn't crazy about them either. This is better than the Flipbelt that twisted around. I guess I just have to get used to it.
Comfortable & Useful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been incredibly convenient for my runs recently. Normally, when I run, I have to hold my phone and don’t bring a water bottle as it is too much to hold. Howvever, with this belt pack, it is super easy to bring everything I need. The pocket is spacious, and the water bottle is big enough for my runs. The belt is super adjustable, and I can wear it across my body or around my waist. I bring it on all my walks and runs now.
Great belt for short runs
The belt is very comfortable and I love the way it holds itself tight against my back without any flapping. The bottle works well and the belt seems like it will last a good long time. The only reason I don't give it a perfect score is I wish there was a better way for the excess strap to be held down in a clean and streamlined method. I might just cut off the excess since I'll never be getting rid of it.
Best Running Belt!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried a lot of hydration belts, and this one is by far the best! It doesn’t bounce at all, even on long runs, and the storage is surprisingly roomy. I can fit my gels, keys, and even my phone without it feeling bulky. The bottle is easy to grab and put back mid-run, and the whole thing is super lightweight. Training for a half marathon, this has been a game-changer for me!
Pockets/bottle holder *too* tight; fit is average.
It's good but not great. The belt doesn't sit as snuggly on my hips as I would prefer, and making it any more tight restricts my breathing a bit. But maybe this is just a me problem, so your mileage may vary. My bigger gripes are with the pocket and bottle holder. I'm finding it almost impossible to get the collapsible bottle back into its home while actively running. I've given up and just held the bottle in my hand for the remainder of my run each and every time, including the majority of a half-marathon a few weeks ago. Similarly, once I take something out of the pocket, it's not going back in unless I stop moving altogether. I can barely fit my hand into it generally. It's perfectly fine if you don't intend to put anything back (for example, removing gels during a race), but if you're on a casual jog and take out your phone, it's not going back in easily. For this reason, I don't use this belt for everyday training.
So Handy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before using this belt, I would run with my phone in my hand and my car keys in my other hand but now I don’t have to worry about either of those things slipping from my hands as I do my runs. Also the built in water bottle is so nice and convenient!
