They feel very durable and I've used them several times in the snow and ice and they are waterproof and keep my feet warm. For cons, I find that I need to wear very thick socks to wear these, otherwise the inner area that surrounds the tongue and lacing system rubs against my shin area and becomes uncomfortable.

The boot seems cheaply made. The top-front section of the boot is made from a fabric like material and is not the typical hard boot material that would protect the toe during a hike. The material almost feels like a thin leather sheet, missing all qualities of a boot. Fast fashion moment has arrived for timberland, deeply disappointed by the quality delivered by Timberland in recent years.

Amazing for the French Alps

These boots kept my feet dry for the duration of the hike. Additionally the are very comfortable and look fresh. You can wear these in any situation not just hiking
