This is the second Magic Mary radial tire that I have used now. Both on eMTBs. I've combined the MM with the radial Albert tire during the summer, but now using the Mary in rear with the Shredda upfront. I've tried the Mary on both the front and the rear. The sure footed traction and steering control is noticeably improved with this tire. As a long time use of the Maxxis Minnion DHR II & Assegai combo the bar was set high. Also a big fan of Conti Krypto's but, I feel that the extra stiffness of the gravity carcass and forgiving radial structure and well designed stud layout really hold the trail well in both dry and damp conditions. The radial design seems to extend the width and breath of the contact patch providing even more traction and mud shedding to the well spaced rubber knobbies. I know it's a controversial design and with much debate both pro and con, both online reviews and speaking trailside with other riders. I like it, I will purchase it again. Enough said.
