Not Worth $$

For years, I’ve been a diehard Keen fan preferring the sandals to the sneakers. I’ve watched the quality of Keen drop DRAMATICALLY over the years with sandals coming apart in a year. I’ve had these particular shoes for maybe two months, have done ONE 5 mile hike and some moderate use out and about. They. Are. Falling. Apart. The foam (why are we using delicate foam on a hiking shoe) has already scraped away. The rubber on the tips of the toes is coming off. The fabric is fraying. These are a laughable quality. Do not waste your money. REI would do well to avoid Keen as their products are in absolute decline. The saddest part is that the shoes are comfy as heck.

I was concerned that the

I was concerned that the shoes might not be wide enough, as they look somewhat narrow in the toe area. But they fit well and I have room to move my toes. I did add a Keen High Arch Insert which seems to be a good option for me. The insert was quite easy to cut to size, as several sizes are indicated on the insert itself and you just trim away the part you don’t need for your size shoe. Walked 3+ miles the first time I wore them and my feet felt fine afterwards. No blisters, rubbing or feeling of constriction. They’re also a nice hybrid of hiking shoe and lighter, more streamlined design. These are the only shoes I plan to take on an upcoming 6-week trip to Europe.

Cute, comfy, & durable hikers!

I got a pair of Keens from the local thrift store months ago and loved them so much I knew I’d love to have another pair of Keens in my lineup. I’ve had these shoes for a little over a week and I’ve worn them to work, out running errands, and on a 5 mile hike and they’ve been very comfortable, versatile, lightweight, and seem very durable! Not to mention they’re the CUTEST hikers! Love the colorway and silhouette, all in all a very aesthetic yet functional shoe. In my opinion, these are definitely up there with the Salomon xt6 in terms of aesthetic but as far as functionality and feel I like these even better!

Holy Grail style & function

I love these shoes. I was confused about which size to order as reviews were somewhat contradictory..My feet have lengthened as I've aged, so I went with a 7.5. my heel is small while the front of my foot is wide and I need height in the toe box. Though they have a sleeker profile than my Keen hiking boots my toes had enough room to spread out and grip, while my heel felt stable and secure. I got the green with orange laces and black trim. They beautiful and fun. They are cushiony and have great arch support. A super successful purchase.

Cute but coming apart after one day

Super cute and comfy! But I got them yesterday and noticed that the rubber on the toe has already started to peel off. I didn’t do anything crazy in them so I’m worried go see what they’ll look like after a hike

Fun rugged sneaker

Fun rugged sneaker for exploring a city or moderate - easy hike. I have a wide foot. For me it was true to size.

woulda bought them if the colors weren’t awful

i really struggle to find shoes that fit me well and these are super comfortable. unfortunately i will not buy them because the women’s color options are hideous and they aren’t available in my size in men’s. just make shoes unisex PLEASE i’m so tired of baby blue/purple/pink or just plain boring being the only options for women and people with smaller feet. incredibly disappointing.

Toe-box too narrow.

Everything is absolutely perfect except the toe-box. It is narrower than the standard Keen shoe. I’m actually super bummed about this. If you need the wider toe-box that Keen is famous for, unfortunately this shoe is not for you. If you’ve always wanted a pair of Keens but have been unhappy with how much space there is to wiggle your toes, you’re in luck. I read another review about these being narrow but hoped it wouldn’t affect me. I’ll have to return them. I’ll wait a day while I stare at them in sadness.

Fabulous sneaker!

I am totally surprised at how I love these sneakers. First, straight out of the box they are super comfortable. I tested them on a two mile walk and my feet felt supported, cushioned, and comfortable. Second, they provide excellent traction. I've walked on pavement, gravel, grass, and dirt while wrangling a large puppy and have had no slipping. (67 YO, gotta avoid slips!) Third, they're easy to clean. Yes, even this light color. Dust and dirt come off by smacking the soles together. I've worn them through wet grass and light rain with zero problems. Fourth, and final, they are so cute and versatile! I was expecting a sturdy sneaker. I did not expect the classic lines and look. I thought I'd change out the pink laces for the black ones, however, the pink laces are just a hint of pink and don't distract. I've worn them with joggers, leggings, jeans, and dress pants. (And I'm looking at a couple of skirts and dresses to try them with. ) I want another pair but can't decide on the color, wish they had them in the lemon curry color as they do in men's.
