Wore these for about a month with light use to break them in, and took these on a 38 mile multi day backpacking trip in Canyon Lands. They were very comfortable and I took them through some rough and rocky terrain. The leather upper faired well but the outsole did not. After the trip I noticed quite a few of the lugs had flaked off, and one had even cracked the rubber and developed a hole in the outsole. Unfortunately I had to return them. I advise that Vivobarefoot use their Michelin rubber like in their ESC models, that seems to fair better.
