These shoes absolutely destroyed my feet. I think those bottoms are fantastic as long as you fit the shoes correctly you may like them. The sole is fantastic. Excellent grip; I never felt like I didn’t have solid tread underneath me. It’s the reason I brought the shoes. The fit destroyed the back of my feet, blisters the size of 50 cent pieces. I think it’s a good looking shoe overall I normally wear a Norda, I tried these at the alternative. Looks like I’ll be heading back. I can’t afford the Dr bills.
Shoe if oddly shaped will only fit a very narrow mid foot. The rubber raised up along outside will pinch mid foot and feel like your oot sits on an edge along oustide srch area. Fore foot is perfect, heel retention is great. But non conforming if you not the exact match to the foot Last . Half size down from normal size is spot on.
Great shoe for muddy trails and hiking/trail running in general. I put the shoes on and was immediately impressed with really good heel and mid-foot lock down. The full vibram outsole has the deepest lugs I've seen, providing great traction. Really good overall quality - I'm glad I decided to try these shoes. Highly recommended!
