Resets combo too easily.

The lock is a good concept. However, the combination reset without me knowing it as I was taking it out of the holder. The combination i chose was reset to who knows what. Now the lock is useless.

Too easy to accidentally change the code

I bought this lock for my 10 year old, and the very first time she used it, she got confused and pulled the metal side out and managed to accidentally rest the code to some unknown numbers. So now we have a useless lock. The ease of code reset seems nice when you first set the code but it shouldn’t be that easy to reset accidentally!

caveat emptor

Bought this on recommendation of sales staff. As the other two posters noted, the reset button, if accidentally engaged will reset your combo to something random. I found this out when I couldn’t open the lock while it was on my bike locked to a post. I used a dull hacksaw and liberated my ride in five minutes. Angle grinder would’ve taken 15 seconds. Please don’t sell this defective piece of garbage to anyone else!
