I have now gone on a few hikes wearing these shoes. Two of those hikes involved steep inclines. These shoes have been super comfortable and very grippy on loose and wet rocks on both the ascents and descents. My feet were stable in the shoes - there was no slippage and no over pronation. These are now my go to shoes for all of my adventures.
This is a beautiful, solid shoe. Unfortunately the toe was too narrow and caused my big toe to rub on the sides. The shoes have a bit of a pointy toe for the approach feature, making them too tight for my foot. I loved the way they looked and felt otherwise. They aren't narrow anywhere else. I have a bunion and they were fine there, but the big toe rubbed the end of the shoe. The men's shoes fit the same and my husband returned his as well. The boot in the same Rapid line have plenty of toe space, so it's just the approach shoe that runs narrow.
