Bombproof!
As usual, great product from Scarpa. Love the fit - not too snug or wide. I use these for hiking, light climbing, and lawn care jobs. They’ve proven to be great at everything, and they are really durable. Some may want more cushioning, but then that would not work for certain applications. I’d imagine they’ll keep charging until the two ghillie laces break - I do wish they had 100% eyelets. I can truly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a sort of “do-it-all” outdoor shoe.
Super comforatabe abd versatile appraoch shoes
Used these for hiking and climbing in Yosemite this fall - and can honestly say they are the best approach and all-'round shoes i have ever worn. Very comfortable, excellent on slick rock, comforatable for long hikes with a heavy pack, could not recommend more highly!
Great fit except ankle bone contact on one side
I wore these on my elliptical for 20 minutes to make sure the size and fit was right. Then I took them out hiking on Mt Hood, first doing the Pollalie Ridge trail from Cooper Spur ski area to the stone hut on Cooper Spur ridge. I noticed the side of my right shoe was rubbing against the underside of my outside ankle bone. The next day I hiked the Elk Meadow - Newton Creek - Timberline trail loop, and noticed the same issue when the slope next to the trail was to my right. It was pretty painful by the end of the hike. Other than that, I like how the rest of the shoe fits my feet. Rather than return them, I'm going to try using a 2.5mm cork insole below the footbeds to raise my foot up in the shoe to see if that helps. If not, I'll have to return them.
Great shoes!!
Love these shoes! Solid sole, comfortable insole and great laces that don’t loosen while I am hiking!
Decent
Not as good as the zen pro, but they’re adequate and work well in any terrain.
Narrow forefoot
I returned because they were too narrow for me. This is just a fit review. I ordered size 46, typical EU size for me. Length was generous, but too narrow across the forefoot. Shoes seem really nice as an approach shoe focused on hiking.
