Try a Chaco for a change!
I had not even heard of Chaco, but a Scout adventure leader recommended them vs Teva. It was on clearance, so I decided to try them. (Chaco Z/1 Adjustable Strap Classic Sandals - Men's Color: DECO NUTSHELL). They are amazingly comfortable once I followed the super useful REI video on how to adjust them. I have tried velcro before and it grabs everything it touches, so the friction buckle seemed like a good alternative. Unlike some sandals, these are quite firmly attached and I feel comfortable using them in activities. Now I am waiting on the next sale date to order a different color Chaco!
