Pretty good but still not great for keepin tiddies in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been on the search for a one piece for years since becoming a mom. One that fit my now done breastfeeding boobs, kept them in, stayed in when swimming or running around with my kids, was flattering and fit my more unique body type. This almost worked. I wish it would have. My boobs started to come out swimming laps and had to readjust every lap. Such a bummer. While I’m working on getting them fuller/perkier since breastfeeding (google OysterMax gals) they don’t still in some bras/suits as easily.I am 5’7”, 142lbs, DD and a size 6 athletic build. I ordered a M L. It fit well around my booty and hips, a bit loose around stomach/waist (especially when wet) and a bit too small on my chest. Now thinking about it I maybe should have gone with a shape with regular straps not the race back style.

The search is over

After 3 years of searching for a long torso suit that doesn't make me look 40 years older...the search is over. I very skeptically followed a social media ad...and the Tulum delivered. Its a perfect little black suit that can take me from a mom day chasing my kids to a girls trip. I'm 5'8" tall, 134 lbs, 34A/B, and generally wear a 4/6. I ordered a small/long torso and it's just right. As a member of the IBTC I wanted a suit with removable cups so I could add some thicker ones of my own. I also wanted enough bum coverage to not embarrass my teenage son. After adding my thicker cups, it's the perfect suit. I'm in love and will be back for another color!

Most supportive one-piece I've ever had!

Love this suit, as a DD I've never found such a supportive one piece - I was surprised to read a couple of reviews that said the suit doesn't fit over a D cup. Holds me in even when I dive :) My only quibble is that the body feels a little short in the classic, and I'm only 5'1, not long bodied at all. Or maybe medium cut is higher cut than I expected & it wasn't riding up? I wish I could have gone into a shop and tried a few options, I wonder if a medium would have made it perfect? or a long torso? - I couldn't order multiples as I live abroad so returns would be an issue. Also, the rise of the back bottom section is higher than I expected, but I can live with it... But most importantly, it feels great, super comfortable. All in all, quite happy with the suit!

Beware of White

The cut and style of this suit is great. I love that a long option is available and the fit was pretty good. I’m 5’8.5 and 152lbs and got a Large Long. It was a tad loose in the bust but otherwise fit well. Unfortunately, in white, the top half of the bathing suit looks cheap. You can see both the shelf bra lining and the padding. I would guess getting a darker color helps this but they really should have better lined the white suit to avoid this. Skip this in white.

It’s perfect!

I’ve been looking for a classic black one piece forever and having zero luck! This suit fits perfect, & allowed me to modify the coverage over my butt which I really appreciated as a mom of 2 little kids. The material is soft and comfy, doesn’t compress my bottom and make the area look bigger than it is, like other companies I’ve tried before. Very happy with this purchase & will definitely be sticking with andie for future swimsuits!

Fits great!

I had been eyeing this suit on the original site and was hesitant to order. So, when I found it at REI, I decided to give it a go. It fits like a glove! I used the size chart on the original site and I was debating a regular or tall length. (My torso was exactly 30in) and ended up with a regular medium. I am 5' 4", 125 lbs with 34DD chest and the medium was perfect. I like that its higher up for more coverage during activities and isn't too cheeky. It is lightly padded, but does not have the underband that usually makes things not fit my chest. I haven't used it yet, but I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can try it out!

Disappointed

I’m so sad, I had such high hopes for this suit. While the material feels like quality, it does not hug the female form well at all. The fabric flares/sticks out around the breast area, creating an unflattering shape and revealing side boob. And the suit rides up the bottom and feels uncomfortable. I’m 5’2”, 113 lbs and ordered a size small. What’s a bummer.

**Horray!!! **

Honestly, I have been avoiding bathing suit shopping for at least 3 years. My least favorite outfit! I chose the Tulum (Flat) in Navy and Black and VIOLA! they fit and are super flattering. I am a short torso gal with a high positioned bust line, which is a challenge for one piece suits. I'm 5'6", a 36 B/C, size 6/8, 138 lbs and chose a M and it was a perfect fit. The bust is in the right place for me, the crisscrossed straps aren't too long (a miracle), my chest is supported and covered top to sides (another miracle) and it's perfectly snug without being too tight. I'm truly grateful. I would say this suit runs true to size. Thanks Andie!

It’s going back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a small, long torso after a regular, small was much too short (the band for the built-in bra in the regular was 2 inches lower than where it needed to be under my bust). I measured myself and according to the long torso sizing I needed to buy that instead of the regular so I was excited to get a suit that fit. Although the small, long torso was a better length it was way too big in the chest and arm area- felt two sizes larger in my bust and shoulder area compared to the regular, small. Very disappointed. I just wanted a true long torso suit, longer in length but not larger all around. I’ll try other brands to find a better fit.

Nice suit, not perfect fit

Fabric is nice and definitely liked the bust support. I’m an AA and it’s hard to find good coverage with actual support! However, I thought I was getting long torso AND full bum coverage— but it turns out, you must pick one or the other, so pay attention when ordering! I returned the long torso because it was just going to give me a constant wedgie, and I tried full coverage suit. The full coverage fits my bum better, but is definitely uncomfortably short. Unfortunately I removed the tags too soon and am now stuck with a suit that doesn’t really fit. Super disappointing that you can’t buy a long torso suit that’s also full coverage!
