Disappointing
So cute, but such a disappointment. The Prodigo runners are my favorite hikers. I was so excited to see that they made them in this waterproof boot style for a trip Iceland. They do not fit anything like the runners. The toe is weirdly turned up and super uncomfortable. The elastic around the ankle dug into me and cut me through my socks. Sadly I had to return them.
Run short
I had to return the first pair and order a different size, but these were too wide. I tried several inserts and orthotics, but nothing helped. I really wanted to keep them—they’re lightweight and comfortable otherwise. I wish they’d bring back the Ultra Raptor II Mid GTX Hiking Boots (the non-leather version)—I’d stock up on several pairs if they did!

Love them
I LOVE them! I do have slightly wide feet so the with was perfect for me. I love a toe box that has a little room. They do did run small, but I don’t mind sizing up to find what worked. I wore them on several multiple day backpacking trips and NO BLISTERS! I love the built in gaiter, no debris in my shoes and my feet are clean after a long of hiking. I have already purchased a back up pair.
Smaller than expected
Even after ordering a half size up these still don't fit. The toes are narrow the mesh makes the whole shoe tighter.
Awesome little boot for your trail needs
I wore these ootb (out of the box) for a nine mile hike in the federal-owned Virginia woods. I also was returning from injury. They were great and supportive, nimble and comfortable. I really enjoyed them. The built in gaiter is great but one does have to wiggle the foot into the boot due to the fact it is part of the upper. Love the grip and the feel. Not clunky and can be swift on uphill and downhill. I like this brand although it can fit more narrowly- however, my almost wide forefoot found it roomy after a few steps. Good job.
Just right for the right feet
I do not have picky feet. I wear a standard size 7 (38). I have had these shoes for about 12 months. What I love about these shoes is the snug fit, they are very light weight, and they keep my feet free of debris & water. They are not easy to slide in and out of due to the elastic (4 way stretch knit fabric). If you have thicker ankles, then I don't think you would love these. I have not had even a tiny pebble make its way into my shoe nor water pour in on super soggy days. I was skeptical about the progressive rocker bottom. I don't know if it actually works as I don't notice anything special about it. The toe box is not wide like an Altra. I am ordering my 2nd pair in a size larger this time around to accommodate thicker socks in the winter months, as I wear Altra runners on dry, hot days.

These are my new go to hikers. Great cushioning for long ascents and great for a little trail running too.
Waterproof and great grip but very narrow
I have given these 5 stars and yet I am returning mine. PROS: they are the most waterproof boots I've ever worn. I had to walk through streams and my feet remained dry. They also have incredible grip: I was walking down steep gravel trails and have never felt so confident in my footwear. They are lightweight and have just the right amount of padding -- well cushioned without feeling like you're walking on marshmallows. You feel surprisingly agile in these. The 'socks' are snug, but not uncomfortable. They effectively kept gravel out and give you some ankle support. So why am I returning mine? CON: They have a narrow toe box. In the store, they felt a bit tight but OK. After a 4-hour hike, however, my feet ached -- especially the one with a small bunion. (I normally wear a regular, not wide.) They never loosened or seemed to mold to my foot at all. If you have narrow feet, I highly recommend you give these a try! Also, they run small: I'm usually a 40, and kept sizing up until I settled on a 42.
