Excellent!
Excellent lightweight leggings with good compression. These are my new favorites! Perfect for my mid-south climate heading into fall. These will go into heavy rotation - I can tell already! Perfect for the gym or regular wear. Excellent quality, and immediately prefer these to my LLL WU’s. Prana, please make more colors!
I found the perfect leggings
Absolutely the best fitting and best fabric leggings you could buy. I teach in my leggings all day and put them through some heavy use. These are my favorite, they don’t roll down, they aren’t see through, they are never too warm but even while wearing to run errands in cold weather they are still just warm enough so I am not shivering. I because they have simple lines and a perfect fitting waistband, can dress them up or keep them for my workouts, and I never have bulk from zippers or pockets in my hips. (I prefer pockets in my tops or I use a small cross body pouch for my phone).
Good function and looks.
The Luxara line performs wonderfully for my hot yoga classes, wicking moisture away like a champ. Perhaps there were some fabric changes since the last batch, as these leggings seem tighter and thicker than the ones I purchased last year. They feel more like a compression fabric, and the higher waist is rolling over in the middle of class and I have to readjust several times, which I find a bit distracting. For this reason, I might suggest sizing up if you're near the top of the size range. Otherwise, I'm pleased with them and the dark green color is a nice change of pace.
Smaller Than They Used to Be
I loved this pant in the past, but the current version is made smaller than when I purchased a few years ago. (I compared both versions, and the newest one is shorter, a smaller width for the waist by about half an inch.) If you used to wear a small, for example, plan on purchasing at least a medium. I'm bummed that this brand is following many athleisure companies with constantly making sizes smaller, and showcasing mostly small and tall female models. Remember that the people wearing your clothing often times aren't 5'8" with a size 0 or 2 waist.
Indecently Tight Leggings
These leggings are indecently tight. I usually wear a size medium, but sometimes need a size large because of muscular quads. I tried these in a size large. They were indecently tight, the "camel toe" look. They were so absurdly tight that I actually double-checked to see if Prana accidentally sent a child/youth size instead of the adult large. At the same time I'm sending these back for being ridiculously tight/small, I'm sending back a different pair or pants (also size large) for being much too large. That's how far wrong this sizing is.
Great fit but smelly
I ordered the black and sage green leggings in a small (because that's the size that I have in other Prana leggings) but when they arrived they were really really tight. So I reordered and got mediums. Fortunately the Mediums do fit but both the black and green leggings smell SO BAD. They smell super chemically and it's really really strong. Strangely the smalls didn't have this smell but the mediums do. I washed both pants and the smell is still there, a little more faint but I can smell it when I'm wearing them. Super bummed!
Looser waistband and thinner fabric than the previous version with the same name from 1-2 years ago.
These are ok, but not amazing. Please bring back the fabric and fit of the previous version that was a slightly sturdier fabric with the mini pocket in the front left of the waistband. I wish I had more of those. This new version is thinner, sags in the crotch, and doesn't stay up as well as the old ones (especially the black). The waistband is really loose and just doesn't stay in place during yoga. Please change the name of the pants if you change the fabric and fit. These are not the same.
Loved the fabric for hot yoga
Great fabric, used for hot yoga class. Wastband at front waist did roll down during class. Could use a drawstring.
These are nice
Overall these leggings are really nice - I like the length and the material finish and how thin they are (but NOT see-through at all!). They have way more compression than I thought they would (which overall I’m fine with) and sort of make my butt flatter than I’d like it to be, but it’s fine. I do find myself hiking them up periodically throughout the day, although I’ve yet to find a pair of leggings that don’t slide down just a bit.
Smooth and comfy
I tried these on in the store and was so pleasantly surprised! They are light weight and very comfortable. I am petite (5 ft, 108lbs) so these 25” inseams are perfect for me. They are high waist (on me) and I sized up to a medium, which made these leggings hug me just right - slightly fitted and not baggy at all . A flattering look and feels great. I love that they don’t have exterior pockets for a smooth seamless look.
