Looked extensively for a waterproof/breathable shell with the features I needed. Found this Stio just as I was about to settle for "almost" what I needed. I LOVE it. The hood is abundant and adjustable with a bill that will keep my glasses dry. The front zipper is sealed with that top edge little pocket so the tab won't dig into my neck - also there is a strip of soft felt inside the zipper. The hand pockets are ample with good zippers. Yes, there are pit zips - thank you very much. The interior pocket zips and is sized for a large phone and then some. The cuffs are adjustable with velcro but the velcro is almost soft - it works perfectly without maybe grabbing everything that passes by it. Also, the jacket is longer in the back. Some really thoughtful person designed this jacket and thought of everything. I was hoping to find a bright yellow or orange (for safety walking) and tah dah! I did order up one size so I can wear a bulky sweater underneath as we live on the coast. It fits as I would expect based on the size chart and my plan for it to be larger on me. I am so impressed with this jacket and can't wait for the next rainy day. OOPS!!! I've never had to edit a review before but I wore my new Rollick out for a walk in a steady, but light, rain and got soaked pretty good. The clothes I wore under the jacket were even wet. My shoulder-length hair was even hanging in wet strands when I got home! I kept 2 of the original 5 stars, because the jacket is perfect but you have to find one whose waterproofing has not been compromised somehow during the manufacturing process. So the deal is that this jacket is all I praised for features but Stio's rep (yep, I called them) educated me further on the waterproofing (health-safe but kinda fragile). There is definitely a manufacturing process problem with my particular jacket - is it just mine or did it occur with the entire lot provided to REI? If you are buying instore, lay it on the counter and sprinkle a few drops of water on the jacket - you will see strong beads of water or water that will smear (like butter on bread). Once you blot it dry, both the surface and the inside will show where the water was, if there is a waterproofing problem. With all our recently purchased waterproof gear, we all need to be prepared to re-apply a waterproofing product routinely. Good luck. Hope this helps everyone.
