Confirmed that the rapid blink function when speed slowing down is detected works. Bright light being emitted which is probably good enough to be noticed by most motor vehicle drivers (those paying attention to cyclists and bikers). However, this has only one mounting option and that is to wrap around either the seatpost or the seat stays. What if those locations are already being used by another tail light (I believe in the more-is-better thinking when it comes to one's own safety)? It would be much better if Lezyne provided a clip option on this product so it can be clipped either to a seat bag or at the back of the jersey.
OK in some aspects. Odd charging as it can use. Cable. Has to be plugged into a female USB socket and the charger cover is a pain to remove. I’m gonna lose it. The frame adaptor piece is a joke. Blinking light that responds to braking is cool. Hate that they say it has AI. That’s just stupid.
Purchased for the high lumens(300) and good price. I like the multiple modes and memory however to charge it, you must pull the bottom off to reveal a stick, flash drive style. Due to the weight of the light, you can feel the stick loose. Overtime this will render it useless. Poor design. Will keep but won’t buy again.
