Utti-ly Impressed: Style, Comfort, Meets Swag
From the moment I put these on, they felt incredibly comfortable—no break-in period needed. The versatility of this shoe is a major plus; it can easily be dressed up for a more polished look or dressed down for casual wear, making it a great addition to any wardrobe. While they are on the pricier side, the quality and comfort make them well worth the investment. Without hesitation, I would purchase these again. One of the standout features is the blue sole, which not only adds a unique aesthetic touch but also delivers impressive comfort and solid arch support. The fit is excellent, especially for those with wide or flat feet. I typically wear a size 10.5 US, and the EU 43 was a perfect match—snug but not tight, offering just the right amount of room. I’m excited to integrate these into my regular shoe rotation and see how they hold up over time. Judging by the initial quality, I have no doubt they’ll last. Highly recommended!
really are a "grey" taupe
These shoes are great. I really like the blue footbed. The photos on REI, and Birkenstock site, make them appear more tan than they are in person. They really are more grey as described. The suede color is the same as the Zermatt clogs photos on this site. As far as I can tell it is the same suede as the Zermatt and Lutry.
Great Casual Look
First the good, love the color and the look as they go great with jeans as well as my Vuori Meta pants. Now the not so good - the deep blue insole. If you have normal arched feet or high arches you may like it but I have relatively flat feet and it’s bad. The insole is very hard and maybe over time it will conform to my feet but I think it would be a painful. It is very hard and I stood on it out of the shoe and my feet could rock back and forth. But all is not lost, I did swap it out with a Superfeet Run insole and much better. There also seems to be a lot of volume in the shoe. Wearing a pair Smartwool Light Hiking ankle socks with the Superfeet insoles the shoes feel much more comfortable. I don’t think I’d go barefoot as the top of the sides of the shoes as well as the high piece of leather on the heel was rubbing to the point of being annoying. Now that I’ve got the right insole, for me, and sock combo figured out the shoe is a keeper.
