My first bike since high school (20+years) I have put about 80 miles on this heyday fat tire through varying terrain paved, unpaved, gravel, mud, sand, dirt, maintained trail, non maintenance trail. I wanted something fun and could handle multiple terrains and I bought this heyday fat tire bike. Every bike from various websites and manufacturers I looked at had trade offs for what I was looking for. There are upgrade and modifying parts but for me it is fun straight out of the box exception is I did buy a nice wide cushy seat. It’s like riding in a 70s Cadillac DeVille turned monster truck reimagined as a bike. With 11 speeds it’s not fast but it is no slouch either, my wife can outrun me in her regular 21 speed mountain bike but comparatively she cannot ride through varying terrains as comfortably. I am absolutely happy with my comfortable, capable, cruiser. I am 5’10” 30” inseam and the medium size for this bike was a little tall but cut the seat post down three inches and now is perfect.
Been using this to explore local trails outside Philadelphia. Just a fun way to explore. If you are willing to play with the tire pressure it is nimble on the road too.Thank you to the team at King Of Prussia who got me all set.
X mtb racer. Been riding for years. As I get older I still wanted to ride but go back to the fun. This bike fulfills that. So fun to ride whether on bike paths to single track trails. Highly recommend this fat bike.
We had to return the bike. It was like pedaling sludge
