Great jacket for sports and travel
I love to wear this all the time. I wear it to ski, bike, hike, and travel. It is very warm, but not too hot for active wear. The fit is very flattering and I feel good wearing this even on long travel days. The hood is great to keep the sun off my face and neck. It is light enough to always bring along and stuff in a small pack. It still looks and feels like new after lots of wear and gentle washing.

Perfect Midlayer
I bought the Taiss Light as a "replacement" for my 8+ year-old Mammut Mercury hoody. The Mercury has been my favorite hoody since I bought it. It's still going strong but has become my wife's favorite too so it frequently disappears. The Taiss's fit is snugger, but every bit as comfortable as the Mercury. It will be great as a mid-layer this ski season and for cooler days on the crag. The hood fits comfortably under my ski and climbing helmets. I do like the thumbholes, a feature my Mercury does not have. Great piece of gear that's also perfect for everyday wear.

I've had this jacket for more than a year now and I love it. I use it as a second base layer, right over merino wool underwear and it's been working great. I usually wear medium or large tops, but I got this in small. The fit is tight but plenty stretchy and still allows for a perfect liberty of movement. I'm 6'1" 160lbs (6'3" wingspan) and the sleeves on the small are perfect. The waist is tight fitting but still stretchy enough for big mouvement and it doesn't raise too much. The hood is AWESOME, allowing for a great neck coverage. I'ver worn it rock climbing for sun protection or for warmth, but its main purpose is as a second base layer for ice climbing. Wicks moisture very well and the high pockets are great, sitting just above a harness. Great little piece of kit.

Great mid-layer for shoulder season
This product is fantastic as a lightweight mid-layer for cool mornings and evenings. I've used this product for long days working outdoors, hiking, and skiing. The material feels premium (almost like a thin neoprene) and has a nice stretch to it, and it feels warmer than other heavier-weight sweaters; the only downside is that wind cuts through it very easily. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something light that can be thrown in a backpack and layered with a shell.

Great Thin Mid-layer
When I first received the jacket it was thinner than I had hoped, but boy is it ever comfortable! I've been wearing it as often as I can! Does fit tight around the torso if that helps anyone. Much warmer than I was expecting as well! The jacket has little baffles (Ribbed) in it that helps keep your body heat nice and close. Thumb holes in the wrist section keep the jacket nice and tight to your arms, making it nice and comfy when you need to use the pockets!

Excellent fit and comfort
Product was Warm, and packable easily in an small backpack The fit and comfort all excellent - and I especially liked the thumb loops on the sleeves to keep the jacket in place. While hiking in Nepal - this was my 'go-to' light jacket to keep me warm while hiking. The Quick dry feature was essential for me, laundry, and Himalayas is a challenging adventure, and this product held up wonderful Size was true to description ....

Bought just to try it-Didn't like it enough to k
I honestly ordered online this just to try it out but I'll be returning it since there weren't enough reasons for me to like it. Plus there were some issues. Right out of the bag it smelled like it had been worn already and sitting on a Goodwill rack (no offense. I buy things from there but for a brand new Mammut item from REI, I was put off by the smell). There was some piling already occurring around the cuffs. Biggest issue though was some of the stitching was undone at the right cuff(see pictures). I'm typically a medium for most tops but for this item it's meant to be pretty slim. I would've preferred the large which was sold out so I tried the medium but alas, too slim indeed-( I'm 6'1, 160 , 31 waist ) One good thing i can say about it and Mammut in general is the sleeves accommodate my long arms well and the range of motion and mobility is excellent even for this tighter fitting size.
Slim fit, warm
Stylish, slim fit and stays warm for it's thickness. A bit on the pricey side however for the material and technology as it more of layering piece than outerwear. Used as middle layer for alpine skiing. The hood is helpful to go under the helmet for cold, blustery days. Also works for general outdoor athletics in the cold- running, tennis.

This is a fantastic mid-layer for the backcountry. Sheds plenty of heat, but keeps you warm at the same time. I typically will skin up in this layer during colder days, because it’s a touch too warm to use every single day out there. But I find myself choosing this piece over other layering options the majority of the time.

Great midlayer - and oh so comfy!
Great and well fitting midlayer! Moves well under shells or other layers. I wear medium in US brands and large in European ones and this one follows this trend. Consider sizing up if you don't want it to be too snug. Zippers on European brands are on the opposite side of Americans but easy to figure out
