Quality seems fine. I mostly wanted to comment on the fit. When ordering, I used the directions on the website and measured my foot at 11 inches which meant I should order size 11. This procedure produced a perfect fit upon arrival. Lucky I measured because I wear a size 12 in some footwear. I like the fact that all 3 straps are adjustable with velcro so you can get your foot positioned perfectly on the sole. After that is done, you only need to release 1 of the 3 straps to slip in and out of them.
Very good sandal, if you have a high volume foot
This is a very well built sandal, typical of Xero products. However, if you have a low volume or narrow foot, these are going to feel like snowshoes to you. The Velcro straps are best for a very large, or very high volume feet. Most people will likely run out of attachment surface area trying to get these snug across all three straps if they have a smaller volume or narrower foot. This in turn creates a trip hazard, because the footbed is pretty large too. If you have a very stout foot/ankle structure, these will be great for you. They are a good sandal, just a bad fit for me.
Light, pack small, comfortable for casual walking
I purchased these sandals because they are light weight (11.2 ounces per pair), fold flat against each other to take up a remarkably small amount of space in a backpack, and are comfortable for casual walking. My Teva Hydratek sandals provide much better support and comfort for hiking or walking longer distances, but are much heavier (21.2 oz. per pair) and take up much more space in a backpack. The savings in space and weight are my priority since I carry these in either my 24L hiking backpack or 30L travel backpack.
When I can't be barefoot
I am normally barefoot and these are great when I have to wear shoes. I have tried a variety of shoes and sandals and experience foot and leg pain after a short time. I can wear these all day in a mall or on gravel trails.. This is my second pair.
